Jerome hit the ground running with Child Cancer Foundation in 2012, shaving his head for the Night of Courage, hosted by former ambassador Steve Price. Shortly after, Jerome experienced the impact of a child cancer diagnosis can have on a family, when a young family member was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away. This motivated him to come on board as a formal ambassador and lend his profile to help raise awareness of the vital services Child Cancer Foundation provides.
Since then Jerome has trained in a Mystics netball dress for our one Day campaign; designed t-shirts and caps for Westfield; delivered Christmas hampers; shared details of our campaigns with his impressive social media following, and spoken publicly about his personal experience of child cancer. And these are just some of the ways he has supported Child Cancer Foundation.
