Komatsu Charity Trail Ride - Waikato
Komatsu, in conjunction with Forest Trail Events, are hosting a trail ride day to fundraise for Child Cancer Foundation.
Nine-year-old Nixon Brown, a Leukemia survivor, has invited every trail bike rider in New Zealand to join him on the day he goes riding with Motorcycle Hall of Fame legend Sean Clarke, on June 23.
Nixon’s uncle Spencer Raynel, a keen rider, has made it all happen through a program called LIVE YOUR DREAM, run by KOMATSU for employees who want to support worthy causes.
Komatsu has given Spencer $10,000 to pay for the day, but Spencer has found sponsors to cover the costs, enabling the Komatsu contribution to become the foundation of a major fundraising campaign.
Terrain Forestry based tracks. 35km loop and 10km short loop. 2km kids track. BBQ and cold drinks will be available for sale on the day.
Tickets can be purchased on the day for $40 (16years+) or $25 (children under 15).
All proceeds will go to Child Cancer Foundation.
