The sale of the necklace will benefit the Child Cancer Foundation so that they can continue to support Kiwi families who are facing childhood cancer.
Kagi designer, Kat Gee specialises in jewellery made from semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and crystals, offering distinctive pieces to truly awaken any wardrobe. This exclusive necklace has all the hall marks of dramatic Kagi design, coupled with her inspiration for creating something unique for supporters of the Child Cancer Foundation.
Kat explains her inspiration for her stunning design, "I design my pieces using real stones and crystals so when worn against the skin, and they will bring energy and balance to body and mind. The black onyx stone was chosen as it is strength-giving and provides support in difficult or confusing times, and I felt that this best reflected the Foundation’s Beads of Courage program".
Child Cancer Foundation, Marketing Manager, Olivia Blaylock says, "We were delighted when Kagi approached us to develop an exclusive piece. The Child Cancer Foundation runs the Beads of Courage programme, whereby, each child being treated for cancer receives beads for each treatment they face, to make up their own unique strand of beads. We feel that the inspiration behind the Kagi design symbolises the courage that children and families display day-to-day when battling childhood cancer."

Child Cancer Foundation Kagi Pendant Competition Terms and Conditions:
- 1. To qualify for entry into the pendant prize draw, donations must be received by Monday 31st March.
- 2. Employees of Child Cancer Foundation and any of their agencies associated with the Promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- 3. Only Child Cancer Foundation donors who have received the 2008 Annual Appeal communication addressed to them are eligible to enter the prize draw.
- 4. There are 10 prizes to be won.
- 5. Prize winner will be determined by Child Cancer Foundation on Monday 14 April 2008.
- 6. Child Cancer will contact the winner on or before 16 April 2008 by phone and the prize will be confirmed in writing after this date.
- 7. Child Cancer reserves the right to redraw the prize if the winner cannot be contacted by the 16th April 2008
- 8. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
- 9. Accepting a prize constitutes the winner's consent to Child Cancer using their name, and/or photographs for publicity purposes without compensation.
- 10. The decisions of Child Cancer Foundation on all matters relating to this Promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Child Cancer Foundation reserve the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions
