Regular Giving ... Simplified

You can help the Child Cancer Foundation help children with cancer without ever writing another cheque!

By enrolling in our Regular Giving Club you can demonstrate your commitment to fighting childhood cancer and increase the value of your donation.

Even small regular donations quickly add up to significant contributions. Regular giving helps us reduce administrative costs and assists us with long term planning.

It's easy! You can sign up for monthly or other regular donations to be made directly from your account.

If you would like to enrol in our Regular Giving Club, please click here to contact us, and we will send to you an Automatic Bank Payment Form.

You can choose any amount you wish, and designate monthly or quarterly donations. You can also change your instructions to the bank whenever you choose.

A tax receipt will be automatically sent to you at the end of the financial year along with updated information on how your donations have made a difference.

Regular gifts are vital to the Child Cancer Foundation. They allow us to plan for the future, safe in the knowledge that funding is secure. Every regular donation, no matter how big or small, helps us continue to give information and support to children and their families affected by cancer.

Special Events

Many individuals and businesses use special events to raise funds for charity. You could take part in a fun run or marathon and seek sponsorship to support the Child Cancer Foundation. Your club or work place could hold a special event: head shave, art auction, movie night or any other activity and support children with cancer through the funding proceeds.

Wills and Bequests

Where There's a Will ... There's a Way
If you want to make a meaningful gift to the Child Cancer Foundation, there is an easy way to do it ... even if you don't feel you can write out a cheque for the amount you'd like to give right this minute.

Just be sure that you have named the Child Cancer Foundation in your will. This is not an out-of-pocket expense that will affect your current standard of living in any way. The money comes out of your estate, after your death. However, the pleasure of knowing the gift is going to be given is something you can cherish right now.

The gift designated to the Foundation in your will can be a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or you can name a piece of property, such as real estate or stock or a valuable personal possession.

Your will needs to be thought about, discussed, planned, and arranged carefully. That way, you can be sure that your money will be doing the work that you want done, such as curing children of cancer. Money you have worked hard to accumulate should be used to support the things you care about after you are gone. Too many people have an out-of-date will. Or, worse, they have no will at all.

If you have already made a will, you can make changes by adding a codicil - a written provision to your will. Codicils need to be witnessed, signed and dated in exactly the same way as a will. Your solicitor will be able to advise you.

If you have already arranged for a bequest to the Foundation, make that known so that you can hear "thank you" today for the support you will be giving to children with cancer in the future.

You can find out more by contacting:

You may use the following form to advise your lawyer of your intentions.

Memorial Gifts

A Fitting Memorial
There may be someone special you'd like to remember -- maybe a friend or a relative who is no longer living. Perhaps you are thinking of someone who is alive but far away from you, a person you too-rarely see. Or you may want to honour in a special way someone you are with all the time. You can pay tribute to a friend on a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, or just because you are thinking of them. You can give special recognition to those loved ones with a gift in their honour to the Child Cancer Foundation.

To make a Memorial Gift to the Child Cancer Foundation, please either click here to view and complete the Memorial Gift Form or contact us on 09 373 3670. We will mail a letter to the person you want to honour (or the family of the deceased) telling them that a gift has been made in their name, but not mentioning the amount you've pledged.

Who would not be pleased to receive an announcement from the Foundation of a tribute or memorial gift? To have children being treated for cancer, to have new treatment methods being perfected, and to have these great accomplishments take place in their name or the name of a loved one?

What greater honour could be bestowed?

Workplace Giving

Across the country, many employers are now conducting workplace giving campaigns. A workplace campaign is a wonderful opportunity for employees to designate a portion of their income to a non-profit organization of their choice. The deduction can be made each pay period, or it can be made in one lump sum. Many employers match employee gifts, making the contribution even more significant.

This is an easy way for you to support children with cancer and their families... by designating the Child Cancer Foundation as your charity of choice at your workplace, and encouraging your co-workers to do likewise.
