How we help

We provide help in the form of family support, education initiatives and holiday homes to help ensure no child or their family facing the child cancer journey ever feel alone.

Family support

Our support services for families include:
 

  • Introductory kits for newly diagnosed families
  • One on one practical and emotional support tailored to the needs of individual families
  • Financial assistance including petrol, grocery and phone vouchers
  • Support for bereaved families
  • Parent support groups

 

Education

  • Financial assistance to enable children to attends recreational and educational programmes

  • Educational days for siblings
  • School re-entry books and resources
  • Scholarship programmes to assist children with cancer and their siblings that may require additional education or resources.

Recognizing and honouring a child’s bravery throughout their journey with child cancer.

Sibling Bead programme
Acknowledging the role of siblings and the support they give their brother or sister with cancer.

Family Link programme
Offering families the opportunity to be linked up with other families that have been through the same experiences and challenges they have faced.

Holiday Homes
Providing families access to holiday homes around the country so they can spend special time together.
