Young fans spend the morning with the Auckland Blues

03 Jun 2010

Four Child Cancer Foundation children spent the morning with some of their rugby idols!

Most people can only dream of one day meeting rugby players from their favourite team.

However this dream came true for four lucky CCF children who were given the opportunity to watch the Auckland Blues closed “Captains Run” at Eden Park before their final Super 14 match.

The children had a great time watching their idols train, and even managed to catch a few of the flying rugby balls from the sideline!

The highlight for the children was meeting some of the players after the session including captain of the Auckland Blues Keven Mealamu.

It was a memorable morning for the children and they went home with photos and signed posters to share with their friends.
