SaveMart Community Volunteer Awards and National Awards

17 May 2012 SaveMart logo

Nominate a special person in your community that has given outstanding volunteer support to the Child Cancer Foundation.

The Child Cancer Foundation in partnership with our Major Funding Partner SaveMart has launched the SaveMart Community Volunteer Awards to recognise outstanding volunteer service and support for the Child Cancer Foundation.

These awards follow on from the success of the community service awards previously made each year in December.

Each Child Cancer Foundation Branch, and Office can nominate any candidate they feel has provided outstanding service and support as a volunteer in the last 12 months or at any time if they have not been recognised in the past.

Nominations are open now and will be considered up to 30 June 2012. The Awards sub-committee of the National Board will then select a minimum of two nominated Volunteers from each region.
We will arrange an awards presentation in each region in the month of July and acknowledge the successful recipients through the media and Child Cancer Foundation communications including Sharing magazine.

Our Volunteers play a vital role in the Child Cancer Foundation - here is your chance to nominate someone special.  Please nominate a Volunteer on the Nomination Form and provide as much information about the Volunteer as possible and the support they have provided.  Nomination Forms and the poster can also be downloaded from the intranet or are available from each Child Cancer Foundation office from Monday, 21st May.
