Meeting the stars of Shortland St

Five Child Cancer Foundation children got meet some of their favourite Shortland St characters in May, and star alongside them on set.

Kelcey Roberts (10), Kavahn Taumatauka (6), Korel Marchant (11) and Shauna Manning (5) all proved they had the star quality it takes to be a part of their the classic New Zealand  soap when they were asked to appear in a Shortland Street hospital scene alongside Regan Ames (George Mason).

As part of their experience they also got to see their names on the daily call sheet which officially documents them as a part of Shortland Street history.

The kids also spent  time visiting the sets and hanging out with other Shortland Street actors including Michael, Galvin, Natalie Medlock and Jacquie Narin.

The episode screened on May 16th.
