The 2010 Child Cancer Foundation Annual Appeal kicks of 8 – 14th March and we are seeking your generous support to help raise funds for children with cancer, their families and the health professionals who care for them.

This year’s poster kids Claudia Little, Hana Ellis-Kaa and Kavahn Taumatauka represent all our children with cancer and they are helping the Foundation by appearing on advertising and media coverage for Appeal.
The Beads of Courage programme has helped all three children honour and recognize the challenges they have overcome in their own cancer journeys. Hana who featured as our Face of Appeal last year has collected 824 over her two and a half year treatment and 5 year old Claudia who has had to have her kidney removed has 180 beads on her necklace. Kavahn who his mum calls “A little trooper” is still in the middle of his treatment and has a “K” to his growing beads which he refers to as his “bling”.
OUR GOAL
Our goal for this years appeal is to sell 75,000 bead bracelets, one for each of the 75.000 procedures children with cancer receive each year on their journey.
So help us reach this goal buy purchasing a $5 supporters' bead bracelet.
During Appeal week streets throughout New Zealand will be covered in a sea of aqua blue! Look out for collectors in your area and please give generously.
Again this year Hyundai have kindly donated a Hyundai Santa Fe to give away to one lucky person that purchases a $5 supporters bead bracelet. Increase your chances of winning and buy one for all your friends!
